The Mississauga Library board discuss, set and govern policy intended to improve the City’s libraries.
The board meets in February, April, May, June, September, October and November, on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The meetings take place at library locations or virtually.
The 2023- 2027 Library Board is as follows:

- Councillor Mahoney (Ward 8)
- Brad Bass, Ward 9 resident
- Chuks Uwandulu, Ward 4 resident
- Mai Lu, Ward 8 resident
- Paul Lee, Ward 8 resident
- Priscilla Mak, Ward 1 resident
- Reyen Jones, Ward 10 resident
- Ritu Janveja, Ward 10 resident
How do I become a Board member?
The Board is made up of citizens appointed by City Council for a four-year term. For information on future vacancies, please visit the citizen appointments on committees webpage.
Present to the Board
Members of the public are free to present to the Board on a subject concerning the library.
If you wish to speak about an upcoming agenda item, please let us know three working days before the next Board meeting. If you have a new item to discuss, requests to speak should be made by 4 p.m. on the Monday of the week before the Board meeting.
You can present for a maximum of five minutes unless the Board agrees to an extension.
