About Tourism Mississauga
The City of Mississauga has formed a new, not-for-profit corporation for the purpose of promoting Mississauga as a tourist destination. Tourism Mississauga, funded by the Municipal Accommodation Tax, will be responsible for pursuing events, conferences and attractions, marketing and promoting Mississauga, providing visitor services and administering funding programs.
Tourism Mississauga is now accepting applications for one individual to sit on the Board of Directors of the corporation. Along with three members of City Council and 12 Directors appointed for terms of three years (some exceptions apply) that represent various tourism sectors from across Mississauga. Applicants should be employed or have experience in tourism or a related sector. There is no compensation for the Director positions.

Applicants must not employed by the City of Mississauga or the Region of Peel.

The City of Mississauga is currently seeking five citizens from the Port Credit Heritage Conservation District to sit on its Port Credit Heritage Conservation District (PCHCD) Subcommittee for a term of office until November 14, 2022.
About the PCHCD Subcommittee
The PCHCD is a subcommittee of the Heritage Advisory Committee (HAC) that provides comment on heritage permit applications based on the objectives, policies and guidelines set out in the Heritage Conservation District (HCD) Plan to the HAC.

To be considered for this position you must:
- Be a Canadian Citizen
- Be a Resident or business owner within the PCHCD. To determine if you qualify, check the PCHCD map.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Not be employed by the City of Mississauga or Region of Peel
