The Sciences and Business department is located on the second floor of the Central Library
and offers an extensive collection in a variety of subject areas, including social sciences,
religion, science and technology, mathematics, business, law, government documents, Canadian
citizenship and immigration, and career planning.
The collection comprises a variety of formats: books, DVDs, videos, periodicals, and electronic
resources. Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you.
Consumer Health Information sites have been selected to assist the user in achieving free and
easy access to health and medical information.

The Consumer Health Collection includes books, reference sources, magazines, pamphlets, audio
and video materials which have been selected to assist the user in achieving free and easy
access to health and medical information. Consumer Health Resource Guides feature topics such
as prostate cancer and hearing loss and provide a selection of relevant books, articles,
websites and local associations.

Provides contact information on over 11,000 non-retail businesses located in Mississauga.
Available in electronic format for in-library use at all Mississauga Library System locations,
or for sale.
