Do your research from home, 24/7!
Are  you a student who is writing an assignment using encyclopedias, magazines or reference books? Are you interested in finding the most up to date information on wellness and holistic resources? Are you trying to decide which career path to take? The databases below provide access to all types of information, including newspaper and magazine articles, journals for scholarly or school research, encyclopedia articles, book reviews and so much more.

Click on the Database title to access. Home access requires you to use your valid Mississauga Library card. Enter all 14 digits with no spaces. Once you are logged in as a Mississauga Library user, you should be taken to either the main search screen for the database or a link to it. You can begin your search from there.

You will need to log in for each searching session. Some features may not work well or at all with older browser versions. Some of the databases, such as eLibrary, only allow 15 users at one time; therefore you may have difficulty accessing the databases at peak times.

If you need further assistance, drop by your local branch and one of the staff will be very happy to sit down at a computer with you and help you get started. The databases are organized by subject or in alphabetical order (scroll down to see alphabetical listing).
