Click on the electronic resource’s title to access. Some eResources are only available in the library; some are also available from home. All you need is an up to date library card. Some of the resources only allow a limited number of users at one time; therefore if you have difficulty accessing a resource at peak times please ask staff for assistance.

AccessScience is the online version of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology. Provides access to full-text articles, definitions and biographies.

Canadian Business Online
A directory to business and non-profit organizations in Canada, searchable by one or more criteria, for example by type of business, geographic area, and/or number of employees.

Canadian Reference Centre
Updated daily, the Canadian Reference Centre combines Canadian magazines, newspapers, newswires, biographies, images and reference books to create the largest collection of regional full-text content available to Canadian libraries. This database includes U.S. and U.K. magazines in full text.

Canadiana Discovery Portal
The Port Credit News, The Port Credit Weekly, The Weekly, and The South Peel Weekly can now be searched online for free! The coverage runs from 1927 to 1969 and centres on communities that are now part of Mississauga.

Freegal
Freegal® is a free music service from your library. Log in with your library card number and PIN (usually the last four digits of your phone number). Freegal offers access to about 7 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 28,000 labels with music that originates in over 80 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Each library card is entitled to five free downloads per week plus three hours of streaming music per day.

Learning Express Library is a test preparation website with tutorial courses and online practice tests. To use this service you must create a username and password. Your user name is your 14 digit library card number and the system will prompt you to create a password.
