Most library locations have bookable group and individual study rooms. The study rooms are intended for non-commercial use only up to one week in advance for up to two hours. Rooms can be booked by groups or individuals.
Room availability and capacity varies by location. You can book a study room in person, by calling your location or online through ActiveMississauga.
Individual study carrels are available at select locations on a first come first served basis.
What happens if I am late to my reservation?
The Library Study Rooms and Makerspace are in high demand and as such we may not be able to hold your reservation if you are more than 10 minutes late. The reservation may be cancelled and booked by other customers.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
If you would like to cancel or modify your reservation please contact the library location where your booking takes place. Customers are unable to cancel or modify their own bookings.
What is the maximum time I can book a study room?
Study rooms can be booked by individuals or groups for a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 2 hours. Individuals and groups can only have one booking per day per location.

Noel Ryan Auditorium – Floor 1
Multi-use performance space with 240 seats. Designed in a modern and adaptable way, the auditorium can be set up for various events, and events can be live-streamed or broadcast.
Meeting Room 101 – Floor 1
Meeting room that can be used as a Green Room with an occupancy of 14.
Meeting Room 204 – Floor 2
Meeting Room with a maximum occupancy of 14.
Program Room 2A – Floor 2
Large Program Room with a maximum occupancy of 88.
Program Room 2B – Floor 2
Large Program Room with a maximum occupancy of 60.
Program Room 3A – Floor 3
Large Program Room with a maximum occupancy of 60.
Program Room 3B – Floor 3
Large Program Room with a maximum occupancy of 60.
Event Space – Floor 4
Large Event Space with outdoor terrace. Maximum occupancy of 60.
