If Mississauga Library does not have a title you wish to borrow, we can request it from another Canadian library. It is up to the lending library to determine if something may be borrowed. All interlibrary loans follow the borrowing policies of the lending library system and fees may be charged to customer accounts for late, lost, and damaged materials. These fees must be paid in full and are non-negotiable.
- Please check the catalogue before submitting as we do not accept requests for titles already in the catalogue or other online resources (Overdrive, Hoopla, or Kanopy)
- All requests require an active Mississauga Library card in good standing
- We only accept requests for print (including large print) and physical audiobook titles
- No renewals are allowed
- There is a 3-month waiting period, from the return date, to request the same title again
- We do not consider requests for titles less than two years old, but you can request newer titles using the Suggest a Title form
- Please limit your requests to 3 per month
