Book a computer

In-library computer access is available by appointment only at all Mississauga Library locations (except for Frank McKechnie Library). Computers are bookable for up to one hour per day.

The safety of our customers and our employees is our top priority as we continue to align our services and protocols with the recommendations of the Peel Medical Officer of Health.

How it works

Step 1

Book an appointment online through MyPC, by calling your local library location, or in-person at any available library location.

Schedule appointment

Step 2

Once you’ve booked an appointment, visit that library location on the date you booked and speak with a library greeter who will direct you.

What do I need to know before my appointment

  • A mask must be worn at all times inside the library
  • You can make one booking per person per day
  • Arrive alone as there is a limit of one person per computer station at a time
  • You must have your library card number

Services available with limited staff assistance

  • Computer use (internet browser, Microsoft Office)
  • Scanning
  • Limited printing and photocopying

 

If you wish to pick up a hold through our curbside pickup, a curbside pickup appointment is required when you receive a notification that your hold is available.

Frequently asked questions

Masks are an important part of fighting COVID-19. In accordance with Region of Peel by-laws and for the safety of everyone in our building, we are asking you to wear a non-medical mask while you are inside.

Physical distancing is also an important part of preventing the spread of COVID-19, so we are asking customers to stay a safe distance from each other. To ensure this, we can only provide access to a limited number of people at a time.

Yes, staff will be cleaning and sanitizing the computers periodically throughout the day, in line with the recommendations we have received from the City of Mississauga and provincial health authorities.

Yes. If there are computers available, you can make a same-day booking online, over the phone, or in person at one of the available locations.
