IMPORTANT MESSAGE
The Central Library has amalgamated the Business and Sciences collections (as well as small
sections of the Arts and History collections) on the 2nd floor, bringing more materials within
closer reach of our customers. Subject experts will continue to answer reference and reader's
advisory questions from the 2nd and 3rd floor information desks. A more logical flow to the
collection and a consolidation of IT resources in one area will better serve customers. The 4th
floor has been designated a Quiet Study Area, providing a much desired space for those engaged
in individual studying/readingl. Further changes will follow in the Spring, showcasing the most
popular materials on the ground floor. Lounge space will also be expanded within the building.
All of these changes reflect the changing needs of customers and will ensure that the Central
library is a destination of choice for Mississauga residents.
