5-Day Job Search Workshop for New Immigrants to Canada
Program Room 1
The Job Search Workshop (JSW) program offers pre-employment training to newcomers. It assists them in gaining knowledge and skills to: better understand Job search strategies, Canadian employers' perspectives, develop job search tools (Resume) and Interview Skills, and to learn the next steps relating to the job search process in a computerized environment. It is conducted by a Specialist, who also helps in developing a personalized action plan.
