The Lakeview Library has many books on CD and in Large Print. Let us help you find something you like! 
We’re at 1110 Atwater Ave, East of Cawthra Rd, just down the street from the Mississauga Seniors’ Centre.


Computer

eHelp
Do you need help with your eReader, downloading songs from Freegal, or downloading magazines from Zinio?
Register for a FREE one-on-one tutorial by calling 905 615-4805, or drop in Thursday nights between 5-8 p.m.

Computer Buddies 
Central Library, Arts & History (3rd Floor)
Older adults pair with teen volunteers for one-on-one basic computer instruction for one hour a week for 4 weeks.
Saturdays, 9:00am-4:00pm
Admission is free. Registration is required.

Meadowvale Library
Six week sessions either after school Fridays or Saturday mornings, pairing up older adults with teen volunteers who can assist with one-on-one mentoring focusing on such topics as mouse and keyboard skills, Internet and email basics.

Saturdays, 10 am – Noon
Thursdays, 6 – 8 pm

Woodlands Library
Basic computer instruction which pairs up Adults
who want to learn more about computers
with teen volunteers who can assist with one-on-one mentoring.

eLibrary Basics
Streetsville Library
Learn the basics of Zinio (eMagazines), Freegal (eMusic) and Overdrive (eBooks/eAudiobooks) and Mango Languages with a library staff member. Call 905-615-4785 to make a 1-hour appointment.

Burnhamthorpe Library
Older Adult Social Club
Meets on the last Wednesday of the month from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Guest speakers on different subjects are often invited and the refreshment is provided.

Clarkson Library
Seniors’ Social Club
Chat with friends; meet new people, free refreshments and Good Company!
2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.
11 am – Noon

Cooksville Library
Older Adult Social Club
Meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.   September to June.
Come out and join our older adults for a friendly social. Guest speakers are often invited. Your input is welcome!

Older Adult Social Club
Last Friday of the month from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  January to June and September to November. Get together to make friends, learn something new and do something fun!  Guest speakers are often invited.  Enjoy free coffee, tea, treats and, of course, great company.

Zoomers Time
3rd Wednesday of the Month 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Join us for coffee, share your hobby, knitting & conversation or just sit and read before the library opens

Young At Heart
Meets the last Wednesday of every month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.  We offer a variety of guests speakers presenting on topics such as, Yoga, Meditation, Fire Safety and Diabetes Awareness. All older adults are welcome to enjoy snacks, light refreshments and meet new older adults in the community.

Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month. No meetings in July or August.
10am - 12pm
