What to do at Book Fest
An all-day Science Fiction Spectacular featuring award-winning sci-fi authors Robert Sawyer, Robert Charles Wilson, Marie Bilodeau, and Tanya Huff in the Noel Ryan Auditorium, 10 - 5 pm.  Register for this free event at the Readers’ Den Department, Central Library or call 905-615-3200 ext. 3544.

There’s lots of stuff to do -- meet live book characters, visit twenty-four local authors in the Atrium, hit Tech HQ to solve your mobile tech problems, and for teens, there’s action in the Teen Zone, or just for kids, the ever popular Kids’ Zone, and check out the Human Library featuring North Indian classical dance choreographer Joanna de Souza, UFO expert Victor Viggiani, and the 1814 Thompson’s Company militia in full uniform with Captain Greg Carraro, and then the World War I soldier’s kit exhibit in the Canadiana Room.   Oh, and don’t forget to eat a celebration cupcake at 3 pm!

In honour of Mississauga resident ROBERT J. SAWYER's receipt of the Lifetime Achievement Aurora Award from the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association, the Mississauga Library System is pleased to present a FREE one-day science-fiction festival.
Robert Sawyer will be joined by his ‘dream team’ at this event --
