The Children's Department is located on the lower level of the Central Library. It houses a wonderful collection of books, movies, music, audiobooks, a French collection, and materials in other languages.
The Department serves a variety of users, including children, parents, grandparents, teachers, daycare providers, homeschoolers and researchers.
Children's Literacy Computer Workstations
These computer stations contain interactive educational games and activities covering a variety of topics, including reading, science, and mathematics.
Internet and word processing computers are available for use in the Children's Department by children and their caregivers. Children can explore, do activities, and look for homework help on the internet.
The Children’s Department features a collection of puzzles, games, toys, and other activities for children to play with and explore while in the Library.
