Grant for Purchasing Children's French
Material
The Mississauga West chapter of Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) has donated $2500 to the
Mississauga Library System for the purchase of childrens books and other materials in
French. The books will go to support the Librarys French Readaloud program, held on the
first Monday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Churchill Meadows Branch Library, where children
in French Immersion programs can listen and participate in stories being read aloud in French.
The French Readloud program continues to June 2009.
