Call for Artists: Vision Zero Memorial

Project overview

The City of Mississauga invites professional artists and artist teams to submit qualifications and expressions of interest for a new permanent public art memorial to victims of fatal collisions.

The Vision Zero memorial will be a place for friends, families, and loved ones to acknowledge and remember losses that have taken place on the road. Informed by community and those who have lost loved ones, the memorial will become a space for individual and collective healing.

The City seeks to commission a memorial that is accessible and barrier-free, located in a highly visible and accessible location with green space.
