The Museums of Mississauga offer a variety of registered programs for all ages. There’s something perfect for your next family outing, entertaining the kids or date night.

This series of adults-only programming combines history, hands-on activities and culinary traditions for a rich, interactive experience where participants can learn new skills connected to historic pastimes. Recent programs offered have included:
- creating classic holiday drinks,
- making Victorian paper crafts,
- pouring candles, and
- preparing seasonal meals over an open hearth.
Teatime at Benares Historic House
Perfect for a fun afternoon outing, experience a time-honoured cream tea service with sweet and savoury seasonal treats. Once you’ve finished your tea, enjoy a guided tour of Benares Historic House.
Historic cooking and crafts for kids
Kid- and teen-friendly programs are offered year-round where participants can make crafts, taste treats and learn about seasonal and holiday traditions from over 200 years ago.
Private bookings
Let us play host to your next event, team-building session or meeting. We are able to offer any of our registered programs as private events.
