About us

The Open Window Hub is a resource and information centre dedicated to empowering unhoused individuals and families, and those experiencing mental health challenges in Mississauga.

On-site services

  • Complimentary light snacks (Monday to Friday)
  • We provide lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 12 p.m.
  • Resource navigation assistance (housing, mental health, employment, etc.)
  • Access to Wi-Fi and computer facilities

Individuals can obtain a no cost Shower Access Pass at the reception desk of various recreation locations during operating hours. Hours will vary by location and are subject to change.

If you require emergency shelter services Peel residents may contact 1-877-848-8481 or Central Intake at 905-450-1996 for service navigation supports.

Call 211, call Region of Peel at 905-791-7800 or visit peelregion.ca. There are programs that distribute free groceries or vouchers to eligible individuals and families on low incomes.

Call 905-791-7800 (toll free 1-888-919-7800) or visit peelregion.ca for homeless or at-risk of homelessness support. Services include emergency and transitional shelters, street outreach, support series and help to find permanent housing.

Transitional housing for youth is a temporary, supportive type of housing that offers structure, supervision, support, and life skills to help young people go from homelessness to permanent housing. Visit Region of Peel Transitional Housing for more information.
