Carmen Corbasson Community Centre’s facilities are located near the main intersection at Cawthra Road and the QEW. Amenities include a climate controlled indoor walking track, full size gymnasium, active living studio, two indoor ice surfaces, and a 25-meter lane pool.
Top amenities
Carmen Corbasson Community Centre (formerly known as Cawthra Arena) was built in 1972. A major gym expansion and facility modernization was completed in 2000. Most recently, in 2025, the facility completed a major renovation to include an aquatic and fitness centre.

Monday to Friday: 6:30 am to 9:30 pm
Saturday to Sunday: 7:00 am to 6:30 pm
Carmen Corbasson Community Centre Fitness Centre features cardio and conditioning equipment including:
- Cardio equipment
- Treadmills and Stairmasters
- Elliptical machines and stationary bikes
- Rowing machines
- Free weights
- Barbells and dumbbells
The fitness centre also contains an aerobic studio offering numerous group exercise classes.

Carmen Corbasson indoor arena is currently closed for renovations.
Warren Marshall Arena and Ron Searle Arena feature:
- Two indoor ice surfaces
- Seating for up to 150 people
- Pro shop open October to April, 7 days a week
The gymnasium is available for a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor soccer and more.
Carmen Corbasson Swimming Pool is 25-metre, 6-lane pool. The Therapeutic Pool is beside the main pool. The shallow, warm water is ideal for people in post-rehabilitation or who wish to include a gentle exercise program into their lifestyle.
The Doctor Livingstone Track provides a safe and climate controlled walking environment year round. You can access the walking track with a membership, pay as you go or buy a multi-visit pass.
