During National Drowning Prevention Week (July 21 – 27), join the City of Mississauga in raising the awareness and importance of water safety and drowning prevention.

Regular program offerings

Here’s a look at some of the types of regular programs we offer:

Drop-in swim programs

There is a variety of water exercise/therapeutic programs and recreational swims available. View times/days online or inquire at the pools.

Swimming lessons

These classes are for all ages and levels of ability. They include practice in technique, stroke development, and endurance. They are available as group lessons, small class sizes, and private lessons.

Water exercise

Programs like Aquafitness, Aqua Cycle, and Water Running help improve stamina, endurance, and muscle strength while reducing stress on joints. All classes include options to work out at your own level.

Therapeutic exercise

Warm water activities for those recovering from an injury, living with a chronic condition, or needing gentle, effective exercise. Personal training is also available.

Swim training

Programs like Spring Board Diving, Life-Saving Skills, and Drills, and Citi Swim help improve physical fitness, stamina, and strength.

Leadership and first aid

These programs include first aid, lifeguard, and instructor training, designed to develop skills in lifesaving techniques, teamwork, and leadership.
