Frank McKechnie has a 25 metre, 6 lane, rectangular pool with a toddler's play pool and 15 person whirlpool located on the deck. Favourite features include a Tarzan rope and Slide in the 25 metre pool and water sprays and swan slide in the play pool.

Fitness

Frank McKechnie Activity Studio has a wood sprung floor and mirrored walls perfect for the numerous group exercise classes it holds. Classes include Yoga, Boot Camp, Tai Chi and more. Pay-as-you-go or Register for one of these programs today.

Sports/Leagues

Frank McKechnie Community Centre Gymnasium offers a variety of recreation opportunities including basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor soccer and more.

Library

The Frank McKechnie Library features wireless (WiFi) access, a children's reading area, and more.

Outdoors

Frank McKechnie park has a number of outdoor amenities that include a spray pad, a playground, sports fields and more.

Frank McKechnie Community Centre has been named in honour of the former Councillor of Ward 5, one of Canada's longest-serving municipal politicians who served as an elected official for 39 years. The centre was officially opened to the public on Saturday, June 24, 2000.
