The Mississauga SportZone sports complex is comprised of a 5,400-seat spectator arena, a three-ice pad community arena, indoor regulation soccer field, triple gymnasium, gymnastics centre, fitness centre and outdoor sports fields. The SportZone is also home to Iceland Mississauga, a state-of-the-art, four-pad ice complex. Iceland offers amenities including an Olympic-sized ice surface with seating capacity of 1,200, and three recreational-sized ice rinks with seating. The parkland surrounding Iceland includes a skateboard park and two artificial sports fields.

Mississauga SportZone offers youth and adult sports leagues including ice hockey, indoor soccer, dodgeball, and flag football. Register as an individual or a team.


Field House

Sportzone Field House

The Field House features a full-sized indoor soccer field (110m x 64m) that can be played as a full field, half fields or quarter fields. The Field House is home to our adult and youth soccer leagues, as well as drop-in programs and camps. The Field House is also available for rent to local sports groups, as well as corporate events/functions.

Sportzone Gymnasium

The Gymnasium features a full-sized competition basketball court and volleyball court. A practice/warm-up court is located directly beside the competition court. When divided, the competition court converts into two additional practice courts for a total of three practice courts. Each practice court can accommodate up to three badminton courts or one volleyball court.

We offer a number of registered programs, drop-in programs and leagues in the gymnasium.

The Gymnasium is home to the Mississauga Minor Basketball Association, as well as the Mississauga Power basketball team.

Carassauga is an incorporated, non-profit volunteer community organization, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. It operated for the first time in 1986 with 10 pavilions, initially operating only on Saturday and Sunday. It was created in response to a challenge put out by Mayor Hazel McCallion to all ethno-cultural groups at a meeting of her calling in the old City Hall in the fall of 1985. It quickly evolved into a three-day, 22-hour event.

The Mississauga Sports Council is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of sport within the City of Mississauga. The Sports Council was established in 1983 by an Order in Council with Mayor Hazel McCallion as the driving political force behind the formation. The Sports Council is governed by a volunteer board of directors and managed by a full-time executive director.

Artificial Turf Fields

Sportzone Artificial Turf Fields

The Mississauga SportZone boasts four full-sized, lit artificial turf soccer fields-two on the north end of the campus (Mississauga Fields) and two on the south end (Iceland Fields). These premium locations are perfect for your next practice, game or large tournament. Soccer, field hockey, field lacrosse and Ultimate Frisbee are just a few of the sports that have hosted successful tournaments on our artificial turf fields. Seasonal, tournament and one-off bookings are available.

Outdoor Basketball Court


The Mississauga SportZone outdoor basketball court is located in the south parking lot of Iceland Arena.

The basketball court is open for public use Monday to Sunday, from 7 a.m.-11 p.m.

Skateboard Park

Sportzone Skateboard Park

The skateboard park is free of charge and open from sunrise to sunset. It is designed to accommodate all skill levels, from novice to expert. The skateboard park is not supervised and it is recommended that users wear protective gear and not utilize the park in inclement weather conditions.


Sportzone Dome

Opened in 2012, the Dome covers one of our full-sized artificial turf fields. The Dome features a full-sized indoor soccer field (100m x 64m) that can be played as a full field, half fields or quarter fields. The Dome is open annually from November to mid April and is available for seasonal, tournament and one-off rentals.

The Dome is a great off-season training facility for indoor soccer, field lacrosse, baseball, field hockey, cricket and football. Just about any sport that you play on an outdoor field, you can practice in the Dome!

Community Rinks


Sportzone Community Rinks

The Mississauga SportZone (Hershey Centre) has three Community Rinks. Each are NHL Regulation (85' X 200') with spectator seating for approximately 275 spectators in each rink.

The Community Rinks are the home to hockey teams in all of the major Mississauga/Toronto leagues. Current City of Mississauga rates and booking policies apply for ice rentals including tournaments and hockey camps. Ice is available from late August to mid-April. Floor rentals are available from late April to mid-August.

The Community Rinks have hosted several major events such as Carassauga, North American Roller Hockey Championships, major GTHL tournaments, Little Native Hockey League Tournaments, Figure Skating Championships and will be the future host to TO2015 Pan Am and Para Pan Am Games.
