About the artwork

By scaling a kaleidoscope to human size, AKaleidoscopic Odyssey invites visitors to step inside and become part of the experience – transforming a traditionally intimate object into a shared public encounter. Split into two equal-and-opposite sculptural forms, the installation creates shifting reflections and moments of interaction that emphasize connection, movement, and collective energy.

For its presentation during the summer festivities at Celebration Square, the work has been reimagined by Anex Works in collaboration with illustrator and designer Meredith Sadler, who has extended the artwork across the sculptures and surrounding site through a playful graphic language. Drawing on the geometry and kinetic energy of soccer, the installation uses a vibrant, sun-inspired palette to reflect the energy of the game.
