South Common Community Centre offers memberships that are available in 1, 3 and 12 month
terms, or if you're just visiting from out of town you can use the Pay-As-You-Go day fee
option.
Numerous other activities such as Yoga, Pilates, group fitness, and dance classes are also
available as stand alone registration programs (see Connect2Rec to register on
line). Personal Trainers and squash instructors are available. There's even a year round
Walking Club that uses the local walking pathways and nature trails.
South Common Community Centre Amenities:
- Swimming Pool and Saunas
- Fully equipped fitness centres that includes includes: elliptical trainers, treadmills,
stair climbers, stationary bikes, rowing machines and spin cycles.
- Conditioning Room Equipment includes: single station weight machines, olympic free weights,
medicine balls, stability balls, bosu balls, core boards, and pre-set barbells and
dumbbells
- Aerobic Studio with a wood sprung floor
- Spacious change rooms with showers and saunas
- 2 squash courts
