Camp Discount Details
  • A 10% discount will be given to anyone registering for full day summer camp applicable to each subsequent week after the first (the first week is full price)
  • Discounts apply to multiple registrations by the same main contact for the same family account
  • The discount will be applicable per child (combinations of registrations for different children are not acceptable)
  • The discount will be applied as a credit to your account after the camp has been completed
  • Discounts will be processed bi-weekly and will appear on your recreation account
  • Camps that continuously run for more than one week will be considered as a one week registration for the purpose of this discount
  • Registrations paid by 3rd party billing or fee assistance programs such as ActiveAssist and The Jerry Love Children’s Fund are not eligible for this discount
  • The discount is excluded from registrations for lunch programs, extended hours supervision only and any other additional fees
New Camps
 

Attention Animal Lovers: This camp is for you! You will get to see, touch and interact with live lizards, snakes, tree frogs and other cool animals. You will also get to play lots of fun games, make cool crafts as you learn about the environment and ways we can help protect animals around the world. (Ages 4-6)

Ages: 4 to 6 years

Looking for a great animal adventure? Come and join this animal themed camp! Campers will learn about various safari creatures throughout the week when they are not playing great games, enjoying sports, making crafts or taking a dip in the pool. Each week includes a trip: tentative locations are the Metro Toronto Zoo, Marineland, and African Lion Safari. The registration fee includes a non-refundable activity fee used to cover the cost of trips and transportation. All staff and participants will attend the trips. (Ages 6-9 & 10-12)

Love to swim, bike and run? When you put them together you have a triathlon. Triathlon is an individual sport that gives kids an opportunity to challenge themselves, promote a healthy lifestyle and have fun. This program will introduce participants to the basics of the 3 sports of triathlon and will focus on preparing the kids to complete in the various Kids Triathlon Circuits that are becoming increasingly popular. Each day will consist of swim, bike and run trainings. End the week by trying out your age groups Triathlon event. Participants should be comfortable in the water and have a bike in good working order with an approved helmet. (Ages 8-14)

Ages: 8 to 14 years

Ready, Set, Shoot! In this camp, learn how to capture your photographic subjects in the best light and positioning. Learn the technical aspects of digital photography while having fun. Campers will be introduced to various software programs so they can organize and create scrapbooks and e-albums, using different platforms to share their media in fun and creative ways! Campers must provide their own digital camera, memory card and USB. (Ages 10-14)

Ages: 10 to 14 years

Learn to ride dirt jumps using safe and proper methods. The BMX instructors will teach riders safe riding technique, park etiquette, skill breakdown, BMX tricks and basic bike maintenance. In addition, riders will gain knowledge on how to maintain and shape the dirt jumps taking pride and ownership of this unique facility! Riders will have occasion to cool off in various nearby City of Mississauga pools and recreational staff will supervise participants in a variety of camp related games and sports activities when they are not riding in the BMX park. (Ages 8-14)

Ages: 8 to 14 years

Ever dream of making it big in song and dance? You will learn about proper vocal structures, be exposed to various genres of music and learn basic dance skills to accompany. At the end of the program there will be a final showcase as a finale for their hard work. No prior experience required.

Ages: 10 to 14 years

Enjoy the Summer in our amazing outdoor pools! This full day camp for youth offers 2 daily swims where campers will focus on essential lifesaving and drowning prevention skills in the morning and team-building challenges and games in the afternoon. Participate in a variety of sports, arts and crafts, challenges and special events both on the field and in the pool! Register early as space is limited. Daily option available for this program. Campers must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres.

Ages: 10 to 14 years

This hockey skills program provides on and off ice instruction each day with drills, exercises, activities, and squad play designed to improve hockey skating, speed, puck handling, shooting, passing, positioning, team work, and overall fitness. FULL HOCKEY EQUIPMENT is required. Participants must have previous organized hockey experience and be comfortable skating forward, backward, and stopping on command. Recommended for the house league players looking for skill improvement and a better understanding of the game. Lunch program and extended hours programs also available to compliment this program.
