Celebration Square is a popular location to host free outdoor, public events of all sizes with the entire venue capable of accommodating up to 30,000 people. With large open areas and adjacent smaller, intimate spaces, the Square is ideal for outdoor festivals, concerts and more.

Large Event Application
Are you planning a large-scale event for the 2028 event season? Mississauga Celebration Square is now accepting applications from organizers interested in hosting events at the Square.
This is your opportunity to bring your vision to life in the heart of downtown Mississauga. Applications will be accepted in August 2026.
All submissions will be reviewed following the application deadline, and successful applicants will be notified in late December.

Before hosting your demonstration, rally, or vigil:
Complete the Demonstration, Rally or Vigil notification form at least one week before your event date.
If you’re interested in requesting a flag raising at the Square or lighting of the Civic Centre clock tower, you can learn more about our Community Recognition Program.
To become a performer or food vendor, submit your contact information to our email database. We’ll contact you if there’s an opportunity available.
