A new Route 135 Eglinton Express will service key stops along the Eglinton corridor. Route 107 Malton Express will have more frequent weekday and Saturday service, as well as new Sunday service. Routes 2 Hurontario, 51 Tomken and 71 Sheridan will have improved weekday service.
MiWay will introduce a new weekday peak express route along the Eglinton corridor and the Mississauga Transitway. The route will travel from Winston Churchill Station to Renforth Station, via Eglinton Avenue and the Mississauga Transitway.
This new route will provide new connections to local MiWay bus service along the Eglinton corridor and the transitway, and to regional GO bus service at Winston Churchill and Renforth Stations.
The service will run every 12 minutes on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the morning and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the afternoon. Service frequencies on Route 35 Eglinton will be adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 minutes to better align with this new service.
Due to growing ridership demand, Route 107 Malton Express will have more frequent weekday and Saturday service, as well as new Sunday service.
Weekday service will operate 15 minutes or better between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday service will operate 20 minutes or better between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
New Sunday service will operate 20 minutes or better between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Due to increased customer demand and to address overcrowding, the following routes will have more frequent service on weekdays.
Schedule adjustments will be made on the routes below to improve service reliability as traffic and ridership patterns continue to evolve throughout the city.
MiWay will make further schedule adjustments as needed to ensure that services remain responsive to customer needs.
