A new PRESTO card will cost $6. You can buy or load a PRESTO card online through the PRESTO website, through the app or in person at a Customer Service Outlet.
You can set your fare type to youth or senior if you buy your card in person at a Customer Service Outlet.
You can preload a MiWay monthly pass onto your PRESTO card or load funds to your PRESTO card to pay a single fare. When you load funds onto your PRESTO card online, it may take up to 24 hours to show up on your account.
PRESTO Monthly Passes are available 14 days before and after the start of a month and are valid for unlimited travel on MiWay during a calendar month.
You can register your PRESTO card online to get balance recovery, an overdraft trip, autoload funds or auto renew your monthly pass. To register your card, add it to your PRESTO account.

Use either a debit or credit card to add ePurse funds instantly to your PRESTO card. You can also check your card balance and transaction history.
Tap your card on the PRESTO card reader when you board the bus. Your transfer is active for two hours from when you first tap your card on the bus. The devices are designed to process one card at a time, so make sure you’re tapping only your PRESTO card against the reader (not your entire wallet filled with cards) to pay your fare.
