The Affordable Transit Program (ATP) – a partnership with the Region of Peel – provides a 50% discount on PRESTO MiWay Adult or Senior Monthly Passes. Starting March 14, 2022, program participants will be eligible for a new GO Transit discount.
Metrolinx announced that Affordable Transit Program participants will also be reimbursed 50% of their PRESTO adult fare – by GO Transit – when they travel on a GO train or bus using their PRESTO card.
The reimbursement will apply to any trip on a GO train or bus and will not have to begin, end or include travel within Brampton or Mississauga.
To receive the fare reimbursement, ATP participants must tap their PRESTO card on a PRESTO device within 30 days of travelling on GO Transit. After you tap your PRESTO card on a PRESTO device, you’ll see your reimbursed fares on your PRESTO account within seven days
