August 2, 2021 service changes

MiWay is committed to delivering the right service at the right time across the network to ensure that service is available where and when customers need it.

All routes in the transit system continue to be monitored regularly so that service levels are responsive to customers’ needs and can change with shifts in demand as travel and traffic patterns continue to evolve.

MiWay will be implementing the following service changes on Monday, August 2, 2021:

Schedule changes to support service reliability: Routes 14, 16 and 66

For service reliability, the schedules for these routes will be adjusted:

  • 14/14A Lorne Park
  • 16/16A Malton
  • 66 McLaughlin

Check updated schedules

More passenger carrying capacity on busy corridors: Route 103

Due to an increase in customer demand, larger buses will be used to provide some trips on this route to reduce the potential for overcrowding:

  • 103 Hurontario Express

Holiday service: Civic holiday, Monday August 2, 2021

On Civic Holiday, Monday August 2, 2021, buses will operate on a holiday schedule. Some routes will not operate due to low customer demand, including:

  • 28 Confederation
  • 35 Eglinton-Ninth Line
  • 46 Tenth Line-Osprey
  • 48 Erin Mills
  • 68 Terry Fox

Next planned service change – Monday, September 6, 2021.
