On Saturday, June 11, 2022 the mandatory mask requirement on buses and inside terminal buildings under the Province’s Reopening Ontario Act and associated regulations will end.
Although masking will no longer be a mandatory provincial requirement on public transit, MiWay recommends the use of face masks on buses and inside terminal buildings.
You can continue to wear a mask if you feel it is the right choice for you. We ask that you remain respectful to fellow passengers and to MiWay staff who choose to wear a mask or not.
Transit Operators and staff will no longer be required to wear a mask when operating a transit vehicle or when working inside a transit facility; however, they may continue to do so at their own discretion.
