For your safety don’t cross the Mississauga Transitway

New glass partitions have been installed on top of the concrete barriers on the Mississauga Transitway at Central Parkway Station, between the eastbound and westbound platforms, to help prevent unauthorized crossings.

Customers who need to access the platform on the opposite side can use the stairs or elevator inside the transitway station building.

This is the glass partition at Central Parkway Station.

There are already existing concrete barriers at each of the stations along the Mississauga Transitway, and these new glass partitions are an additional safety measure.

As part of approved Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) funding, more glass partitions will be installed on the barriers along the Mississauga Transitway each year.
