Holiday service changes start on Monday, Dec. 22

There will be seasonal service changes from Dec. 22, 2025, to Jan. 4, 2026, to align transit service with customer demand during the holidays.

Consistent with secondary school holiday closures, 300-series routes and additional school supplementary trips around start/dismissal times will not operate from Dec. 22, 2025 to Jan. 2, 2026.

Regular service resumes on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

Holiday service adjustments

On days with reduced weekday service:

  • 18 Derry will operate less frequently.
  • 101A Dundas Express will not service the University of Toronto Mississauga.
  • 110A University Express, 126 Burnhamthorpe Express and 135 Eglinton Express will not operate.

On days with regular Sunday service:

  • 61 Mavis will have some trips removed.
  • 66 McLaughlin will have some trips removed.

Ride free on New Year’s Eve

MiWay will offer free service on New Year’s Eve from 7 p.m. on Wed, Dec. 31, 2025 to 4 a.m. on Thurs, Jan. 1, 2026.

The following routes will have extended late-night service until 4 a.m. on New Year’s Eve:

  • 2 Hurontario
  • 3 Bloor
  • 5 Dixie
  • 7 Airport
  • 10 Bristol
  • 11 Westwood
  • 13 Glen Erin
  • 17 Hurontario
  • 23 Lakeshore
  • 26 Burnhamthorpe

  • 66 McLaughlin
