Say goodbye to the PRESTO E-Tickets App, say hello to PRESTO in mobile wallet!
Starting May 1, 2025, the digital U-Pass for University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) students is moving to PRESTO vouchers. Each academic term, students will receive a unique voucher code—specific to them—that can be redeemed on a PRESTO card linked to a registered PRESTO account.
The new digital U-Pass available through PRESTO vouchers offer students a faster, more convenient way to ride by using the PRESTO app and loading their U-Pass directly onto a PRESTO card in their mobile wallet. With tap-on access, students can enjoy smoother boarding. Unlike old PRESTO e-tickets that required scanning a QR code, the new system supports the One Fare Program, giving students a 2-hour transfer window between local transit systems—starting with a MiWay bus.
