Service Update: Multiple routes on detour due to Hazel McCallion Line construction

Construction for the Hazel McCallion Line is well underway. To support this work, Metrolinx has planned a temporary intersection closure at Hurontario St. and Dundas St. from June 11 to June 26 to install the centre-running guideway and LRT tracks.

To help minimize disruption for drivers and transit customers, the work will be completed in two phases:

Phase One: Full Intersection Closure – Complete

7:00pm June 11 to 5:00am June 15
The intersection will be fully closed in all directions.

  • Routes 2 and 103 (Hurontario) will detour via Confederation Pkwy
  • Routes 1 and 101 (Dundas) will detour via King St.
The following stops will be impacted during the closure:
  • 0718: NB Hurontario St. At Dundas St. E
  • 0796: NB Hurontario St. At Kirwin Ave
  • 1115: SB Hurontario St. South Of Hillcrest Ave
  • 0717: SB Hurontario St. At Dundas St W
  • 0748: EB Dundas St. At Confederation Pky
  • 0749: EB Dundas St. At Hurontario St.
  • 0750: EB Dundas St. At Jaguar Valley
  • 0751: EB Dundas St. At Camilla Rd.
  • 0787: WB Dundas St. At Littlejohn Lane
  • 0788: WB Dundas St. At Jaguar Valley Dr
  • 1189: WB Dundas St. At Hurontario St.
  • 1190: WB Dundas St. At Confederation Pky

Phase Two: Partial Intersection Closure

5:00am June 15 to 5:00am June 26
Hurontario St. will reopen to north–south traffic. At the same time, Dundas St. will remain closed east–west at Hurontario St.

Routes 1 and 101 will continue to be on detour.

The following stops will be impacted during the closure:

  • 0748: EB Dundas St. At Confederation Pky
  • 0749: EB Dundas St. At Hurontario St.
  • 0750: EB Dundas St. At Jaguar Valley
  • 0751: EB Dundas St. At Camilla Rd.
  • 0787: WB Dundas St. At Littlejohn Lane
  • 0788: WB Dundas St. At Jaguar Valley Dr
  • 1189: WB Dundas St. At Hurontario St.
  • 1190: WB Dundas St. At Confederation Pky
