Starting Sept. 1, 2023, the U-Pass for University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) students will be digital.
The digital U-Pass is provided through the PRESTO E-Tickets app as proof of payment to provide a convenient way for UTM students to ride on MiWay. The digital U-Pass is currently the only MiWay fare product available through the PRESTO E-Tickets app.
If you’re a full-time UTM student, the digital U-Pass gives you unlimited travel on MiWay during the school year. The Fall/Winter U-Pass is in effect from Sept. 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024. A printed U-Pass product will no longer be available.
Simply open your activated MiWay U-Pass E-Ticket QR code before you board a MiWay bus, and scan the QR code on the bus reader as you board. The Transit Operator may also ask you to present your T-card to confirm you are a UTM student.
