The PRESTO app, Prestocard.ca and mobile wallet services will be unavailable for scheduled updates from January 30 at 11 p.m. to January 31 at 7 a.m. Please load your card ahead of time. You can still tap or use contactless payment to pay your fare and load your card at vending machines or customer service outlets.

Refunds

PRESTO

  • The $4 card cost is non-refundable.
  • MiWay monthly passes are non-refundable.
  • Refunds for PRESTO cards with a balance under $50 can be issued at the City Centre Transit Terminal. You can get a refund of the balance by returning your card and a completed Refund Form B that you can download from the PRESTO Refunds webpage. All refunds are subject to a 4% processing fee.
  • For a refund of $50 or more, you’ll need to send your PRESTO card and completed Refund Form A to PRESTO. Download the form and find more information on the PRESTO Refunds page.

Cash

Cash fares are non-refundable. MiWay cannot provide change for cash fares.

Tickets

Tickets are non-refundable. Paper tickets will not be accepted after December 31, 2020. Special purpose tickets continue to be accepted.
