Outdoor Council Meeting Showcases Mississauga's New Public Square

A unique outdoor Council Meeting will feature Mississauga Celebration Square, the City's new state-of-the-art event destination.  Deputations and presentations will showcase the versatile venue, which opens for business on June 22.

Deputations: Overview of the City's Infrastructure Stimulus Fund (ISF) and RInC/Ontario REC projects; development and design of the Square; video of the Square's construction; overview of the Square's features; event programming highlights; Canada Day highlights; recognition of ISF/RInC teams.

The official public opening of Mississauga Celebration Square will take place at the Canada Day ceremony scheduled at 1 p.m. from the main stage on Friday, July 1.
