Mississauga Data is an open data website that contains urban planning related reports, newsletters, brochures and data. The Information Planning Research Unit manages statistical data including: population, demographics, census, development monitoring/activity, growth forecasts, housing, employment, office, land use, vacant lands, and the environment.

  • Second Unit Licensing 01-09-2015 Under the Second Unit Licensing By-law 204-13, as amended, a valid business licence is required in order to own or operate a Second Unit in the City of Mississauga. This dataset contains a list of the licensed second units. The data fields include: licence number, house, street, unit, postal code, city, licence type and issued date.
  • 2015 Vacant Lands 02-07-2015 . The 2015 Vacant Lands profile presents an overview on the location, size and type of vacant land sites in the City of Mississauga.
  • Open Data Corporate Policy and Procedures16-06-2015 On June 17, 2015 General Committee approved a corporate policy on our open data program. This is great news as it will extend the open data program to all parts of the corporation, no longer limited to the Planning and Building Department.
