Aidan Lee is one of the current Resident Artists participating in the City of Mississauga’s Resident Artist Program at the Living Arts Centre.

Aiden Lee is an emerging glass artist based in Oakville, Ontario, working primarily in flameworked borosilicate glass. Originally from Burlington, he first studied Visual and Creative Arts at Sheridan College, developing a strong foundation in sculpture and printmaking. He returned to Sheridan in 2019 to pursue his interest in glass, completing the Craft and Design Glass program in 2025.
Aiden’s practice focuses on murrini and cane techniques to create sculptural and vessel forms that explore geometric pattern, repetition, and structure. Drawing inspiration from architecture, woven design, and geometric forms, his work investigates how pattern can act as a tool for building rhythm and order. His exploration of structure and pattern is closely tied to themes of identity, using visual systems to reflect personal experiences of transition, control, and self-understanding.
He is currently focused on refining his sculptural language and exploring opportunities for exhibition, collaboration, and community-based glass practice.
