About the artist

Shankar Adiseshan is a contemporary abstract photographer who lives and works in Mississauga. His work is largely an abstracted experience of urban and natural environments. His artwork is suggestive of, but not literal in its depiction of reality. Looking past the obvious, close observation and engagement of the subject is his process. The resulting images are intended to inspire others to look more carefully at the world around them and discover beauty that might be hidden in plain sight.
