2019 Budget Committee Update – Jan 14

Today at Budget Committee, the following programs and service areas presented their 2019 Business Plan and Budget:

Fire and Emergency Services
The proposed 2019 net operating budget is $114 million.

Parks and Forestry
The proposed 2019 net operating budget is $34.5 million.

Mississauga Library
The proposed 2019 net operating budget is $28.1 million.

Recreation
The proposed 2019 net operating budget is $26.5 million.

Culture
The proposed 2019 net operating budget is $6.9 million.

Environment
The proposed 2019 net operating budget is $1.7 million.

The City of Mississauga’s Budget Committee will continue deliberations on January 15 at 9 a.m. with Facilities and Property Management, Stormwater, MiWay, Roads and Land Development Services.

Council is scheduled to approve the proposed 2019 Business Plan and Budget on February 6.
