Congratulations to the winners of the 2024-25 MiWay Student Ambassador Program

Yesterday at General Committee, the first, second and third place winners of the 2024-2025 MiWay Student Ambassador Program were announced.

The MiWay Student Ambassador Program is a fun and professional opportunity for high school students to represent and promote MiWay, while earning volunteer hours and winning prizes.

Students participated by doing activities throughout the school year. This included educating students about the benefits of taking public transit, attending online and in-person meetings with their peers and creating and sharing social media content about MiWay.

Congratulations to this year’s winners:

  • 1st Place: Rais and Tanvir, Erindale Secondary School (Ward 8)
  • 2nd Place: Harish and Kishan, Glenforest Secondary School (Ward 3)
  • 3rd Place: Mina and Yashica, St. Francis Xavier Secondary School (Ward 5)

Applications for the 2025-2026 MiWay Student Ambassador Program will open later this summer.
