More frequent weekday service on Route 35 Eglinton

On weekdays, the route will operate every 9 minutes (previously every 10 minutes) from 6 am to 10 am and from 2:30 pm to 8 pm, and every 22 minutes (previously every 25 minutes) from 10 am to 2:30 pm.

Route 34 cancellation due to low customer demand

Route 34 Credit Valley will be cancelled due to low customer demand. The resources from this cancellation will be reinvested in Route 35 Eglinton to help alleviate customer overcrowding and into service reliability on other routes throughout the network.

Service coverage will be maintained with new routing on three alternate routes:

  • 9 Rathburn-Thomas: new routing servicing Erin Mills Town Centre, Credit Valley Hospital and Erindale GO Station. It will no longer service Streetsville GO Station or travel on Queen Street.
  • 49A McDowell: new routing will service the Streetsville GO Station and connect to Milton Line GO Train service.
  • 68 Terry Fox: new routing will service Kingsbridge Garden Circle. Service will also operate on Sundays from 10 am to 8 pm. It will no longer travel on Confederation Parkway.

Revised routing: 9 Rathburn-Thomas, 49A McDowell and 68 Terry Fox

In order to maintain coverage for all areas serviced by 34 Credit Valley, 9 Rathburn-Thomas will be revised to service Erin Mills Town Centre and Credit Valley Hospital via Erin Mills Parkway. The 9 Rathburn-Thomas will no longer travel to Streetsville GO Station or along Queen Street but will continue to service Erindale GO Station on weekdays.

49A McDowell will be restored to provide an alternative route option for those who need to travel to Streetsville GO Station and connect to Milton Line GO Train service.

68 Terry Fox will be revised to service Kingsbridge Garden Circle and Hurontario Street and will no longer travel on Confederation Parkway. This route will also have reinstated Sunday service and will operate from 10 am to 8 pm.
