Mayor Hazel McCallion Congratulates Victor Oh on Appointment to Senate of Canada

Mississauga resident Victor Oh was appointed to the Senate of Canada on January 25.

"It is wonderful that a Mississauga community leader has been appointed to the Senate," said Mayor Hazel McCallion. "I know Victor will be an excellent addition to the Senate with his experience and dedication. Victor is known for giving back to the community and helping others through his work with Mississauga community organizations including Safe City Mississauga. Also of note is his support of economic development and prosperity in Mississauga. This appointment is a fitting tribute to his service."
