This section will contain notices in accordance with By-law 0516-2003. This By-law outlines
the form and manner for the provision of Public Notice under the Municipal Act 2001.
This section will also contain additional notices that are of interest to the citizens of
Mississauga.
NOTE : Recent changes to the Planning Act
| Under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and with
respect to Bill 51 applications:
i) If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting,
or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person
or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Mississauga to the Ontario
Municipal Board.
ii) If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public
meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed,
the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the
Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do
so.
A copy of your written submission will be forwarded to Mississauga City Council to become
part of the public record with respect to the above noted matter.
The personal information requested is collected under authority of the Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and the applicable implementing Ontario Regulation. This
information will be used to inform you of future meetings including Ontario Municipal Board
Hearings regarding the above application. Questions about the collection of personal
