This section will contain notices in accordance with By-law 0516-2003. This By-law outlines the form and manner for the provision of Public Notice under the Municipal Act 2001.

This section will also contain additional notices that are of interest to the citizens of Mississauga.

NOTE : Recent changes to the Planning Act

Under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and with respect to Bill 51 applications:

i)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Mississauga to the Ontario Municipal Board.

ii)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

A copy of your written submission will be forwarded to Mississauga City Council to become part of the public record with respect to the above noted matter. 

The personal information requested is collected under authority of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and the applicable implementing Ontario Regulation.  This information will be used to inform you of future meetings including Ontario Municipal Board Hearings regarding the above application.  Questions about the collection of personal information should be directed to the Access and Privacy Officer, City of Mississauga, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, ON  L5B 3C1 or by telephone at 905-615-3200, Ext. 5181.

To consider changes to Mississauga Official Plan and Zoning By-law for the Malton neighbourhood and the Great Punjab Business Centre. Proposed changes include new/revised policies on vision, land use, transportation policies, urban design, special and exempt sites and zoning.

   CD.06-ACC_Accessory Structures     
To revise the zoning regulations for accessory buildings and structures on residential lots. Proposed revisions include creating two sets of regulations depending on the size of the lot; permitting an increased height and area occupied for larger lots; introducing a maximum lot coverage for accessory structures; removing the maximum number of accessory structures in favour of a maximum combined area; and exempting certain outdoor fireplaces.

   OPA 67 NOTICE OF PASSING     
The purpose of this amendment is to replace Aircraft Noise Policies in Mississauga Official Plan, to add a portion of land in the Malton Community Node and Neighbourhood Character Areas as an "Exception Area" and to amend the boundary of the Meadowvale Village Neighbourhood Exception Area. A copy of By-Law 0133-2017 adopting this Amendment is attached.
