This section will contain notices in accordance with By-law 0516-2003. This By-law outlines the form and manner for the provision of Public Notice under the Municipal Act 2001.

This section will also contain additional notices that are of interest to the citizens of Mississauga.

NOTE : Recent changes to the Planning Act

Under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and with respect to Bill 51 applications:

i)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Mississauga to the Ontario Municipal Board.

ii)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

A copy of your written submission will be forwarded to Mississauga City Council to become part of the public record with respect to the above noted matter. 

The personal information requested is collected under authority of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and the applicable implementing Ontario Regulation.  This information will be used to inform you of future meetings including Ontario Municipal Board Hearings regarding the above application.  Questions about the collection of personal information should be directed to the Access and Privacy Officer, City of Mississauga, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, ON  L5B 3C1 or by telephone at 905-615-3200, Ext. 5181.

   CD.06-REP W1 - Regulation of Height for Dwellings with flat roofs.     
To amend the Zoning By-law to prohibit new houses with flat roofs being taller than 7.5 m (24.6 ft.). The area where this is proposed is in Ward 1 and will include properties zoned "R1", "R1-20", "R1-21", "R1-22", "R1-38", "R3", "R3-12", "R3-17" (MAP 07 only), "R3-43", "R3-45", "R3-48", "R3-56", "R15", "RM1", "RM2" and "RM7" zones.

   OZ 14/005 - NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF A ZONING BY-LAW     
This By-law amends the Zoning provisions of the "D-12" (Development-Exception) zone which applies to the property outlined on the attached Appendix "B" to permit an extension of the temporary outdoor storage of refrigeration trailers in accordance with the existing standards that apply to the property.

   BL.09.MED - ZONING BY-LAW AFFECTING ALL LANDS IN THE CITY OF MISSISSAUGA     
The purpose of this By-law is to add a definition for Medicinal Product Manufacturing Facility and to permit this use where a Manufacturing Facility is currently permitted.

   Notice of Public Information Meeting Re: Development Charges By-law     
The Council of the Corporation of the City of Mississauga will hold a public meeting in accordance with Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997 regarding the proposed development charges rates and policies that will be applied throughout the Municipality.
