This section will contain notices in accordance with By-law 0516-2003. This By-law outlines the form and manner for the provision of Public Notice under the Municipal Act 2001.

This section will also contain additional notices that are of interest to the citizens of Mississauga.

NOTE : Recent changes to the Planning Act

Under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and with respect to Bill 51 applications:

i)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Mississauga to the Ontario Municipal Board.

ii)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

A copy of your written submission will be forwarded to Mississauga City Council to become part of the public record with respect to the above noted matter. 

The personal information requested is collected under authority of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and the applicable implementing Ontario Regulation.  This information will be used to inform you of future meetings including Ontario Municipal Board Hearings regarding the above application.  Questions about the collection of personal information should be directed to the Access and Privacy Officer, City of Mississauga, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, ON  L5B 3C1 or by telephone at 905-615-3200, Ext. 5181.

   Class Environmental Asssessment study for Ninth Line - Notice of Study Completion     
The City of Mississauga has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study for the section of Ninth Line from Derry Road West to a point just south of Highway 401/407. This study was undertaken to investigate pavement needs for Ninth Line, additional road capacity, safety improvements, and opportunities for cycling facilities, to address current and future needs. By way of this notice, the Environmental Study Report will be placed on record for a 45-day public review period (beginning on July 11, 2014 and ending on August 25, 2014).

   CITY INITIATED HOUSEKEEPING BY-LAW, AFFECTING ALL LANDS IN THE CITY OF MISSISSAUGA     
The purpose of this By-law is to amend Mississauga Zoning By-law 0225-2007, as amended to clarify wording in vatious sections of the Zoning By-law that have been identified since the Zoning By-law was passed by Council on June 20, 2007.
