This section will contain notices in accordance with By-law 0516-2003. This By-law outlines the form and manner for the provision of Public Notice under the Municipal Act 2001.

This section will also contain additional notices that are of interest to the citizens of Mississauga.

NOTE : Recent changes to the Planning Act

Under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and with respect to Bill 51 applications:

i)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Mississauga to the Ontario Municipal Board.

ii)  If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

A copy of your written submission will be forwarded to Mississauga City Council to become part of the public record with respect to the above noted matter. 

The personal information requested is collected under authority of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended and the applicable implementing Ontario Regulation.  This information will be used to inform you of future meetings including Ontario Municipal Board Hearings regarding the above application.  Questions about the collection of personal information should be directed to the Access and Privacy Officer, City of Mississauga, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, ON  L5B 3C1 or by telephone at 905-615-3200, Ext. 5181.

   CD.06.REP W1 Height of Dwellings with Sloped Roofs and Dwelling Depth     
To revise the zoning to restrict the height of sloped roof houses and eaves and add a maximum house depth regulation for residential properties in parts of Ward 1 not subject to infill housing regulations; and to limit the height of flat roof homes for certain residential zones in Ward 1 along Hurontario Street not included in By-law 0171-2015 passed by Council in June 2015.

   Notice of Passing of a Zoning By-law OZ 15/004     
The purpose of this By-law is to add outdoor storage, contractor's service shop, contractor's yard and truck fuel dispensing facility as permitted uses on the subject property. This by-law amends the zoning of the property outlined on the Schedule "A" from "E3-1" (Industrial - Exception) to "E3-15" (Industrial - Exception). "E3-1" permits a limited range of industrial uses. "E3-15" permits outdoor storage, contractor's service shop, contractor's yard and truck fuel dispensing facility in addition to the uses permitted in the E3 zone.

   Notice of Public Information Meeting Re: Development Charges By-law     
The Council of the Corporation of the City of Mississauga will hold a public meeting in accordance with Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997 regarding the proposed development charges rates and policies that will be applied throughout the Municipality.
