A busy express route will have more service, a local route will be revised to provide better connectivity to Ridgeway Plaza and some routes will have adjusted schedules.
City services | December 16, 2025
Starting this January 5, MiWay will be adding service to busy routes to help ease overcrowding. This includes the Route 109 Meadowvale Express, which will have improved service to meet customer demand and Routes 26 Burnhamthorpe and 61 Mavis, which will have improved service during the week.
Due to increased demand, Route 109 Meadowvale Express will have more frequent service throughout the week and on weekends.
The current Route 35 Eglinton only provides westbound service between Ninth Line and Ridgeway Drive with eastbound service provided via Erin Centre Boulevard and Tenth Line.
This route will be revised to provide consistent east and westbound service along Eglinton Avenue and Ninth Line with the addition of three new bus stops (#3454, #3452 and #3453) near Ridgeway Plaza.
Due to this routing change, the eastbound Route 35 Eglinton will no longer service bus stops along Erin Centre Boulevard and Tenth Line. Customers traveling within the area are encouraged to use the new Route 35 Eglinton bus stops (or existing stop #3518), take Route 9 Rathburn or Route 46 Tenth Line.
Due to increased customer demand and to address overcrowding, the following routes will have more frequent service on weekdays.
Schedule adjustments will be made to the routes below to improve service reliability as traffic and ridership patterns continue to evolve throughout the city.
