To amend the regulations for the Urban Apartment Zones (RA6 & RA7) to streamline approvals for housing and provide greater flexibility for new apartment buildings within an urban context. Examples include minimum tower separation, maximum podium height, etc.
Amendments are also proposed to the amenity area requirements for the Urban Apartment Zones (RA6 & RA7) as well as the Apartment Zones (RA1, RA2, RA3, RA4 & RA5), applicable for new apartment buildings only.
