Did you know that Mississauga residents can save on fees at City operated golf courses? Residents can bring their photo ID with proof of address to BraeBen or Lakeview Golf Course Pro Shops anytime the courses are open. They will receive a five per cent discount on green fees at Lakeview, BraeBen Championship and BraeBen 9-Hole Academy courses.
Mississauga residents can also book tee times one hour earlier than non-residents. Bookings begin at 8 p.m., seven days in advance. To qualify, customers must have their profile updated.
BraeBen is in the Heartland community. It boasts an 18-hole Championship Course and a nine-hole Par-three Academy Course. Golfers can take private lessons from certified golf professionals. They can also take part in adult and junior golf clinics, as well as junior full-day summer camps.
This year, BraeBen continues to upgrade the golf course teeing areas and has replaced the asphalt on select cart paths. Visitors may also notice a new pro shop counter that is easier to access.

This 18-hole course, located south of Queen Elizabeth Way, is another great option for golfers. It is a scenic course that has been part of the community since 1907 and hosted two Canadian Opens. It is designated as an Ontario Heritage site.
This year, the course has some notable improvements such as enhanced lighting at the entrance and a newly repaved parking lot and surrounding clubhouse areas. There is also a refreshed clubhouse interior, upgraded concession counter, two new warm-up hitting stations with practice nets, new signage and improved access.
Stop by Lakeview this season, visit mississauga.ca/golf/lakeview/.
Before you tee off, bring a reusable water bottle. Water refill stations are available on-site. The City’s golf courses do not sell plastic water bottles.
Remember that BraeBen or Lakeview are cashless, so please bring debit or credit cards for transactions.
Book your tee time today at mississauga.ca/golf.
Golf is a fun way to get active and spend time with others. We hope to see you on the greens soon!
