Two centuries of history: Leslie Log House celebrates 200 years

Members of the media and public are invited to attend a special celebration marking the 200th anniversary of the Leslie Log House, one of the oldest remaining log homes in Ontario. The event will recognize the site’s historical significance and its role in preserving Mississauga’s early settler history.

About the Leslie Log House

Built in 1826, the Leslie Log House is one of the oldest surviving log homes in Ontario and a designated heritage property. Operated in partnership with the Streetsville Historical Society, the house offers visitors a glimpse into life in early Upper Canada and serves as an important reminder of Mississauga’s rural and agricultural roots.
