Residents and businesses are advised to verify event details before registering or purchasing tickets.
The City of Mississauga became aware of two Eventbrite listings for the International Conference on Leadership, Innovation, Global Investment, & Professional Development (ICLIGP). The listings falsely claim to be in partnership with the City and state the event will take place at Malton Community Centre from August 31 to September 2, 2026 and November 30, 2026.
The City is not affiliated with these events, and no booking exists for this at any City facility.
Online promotions for these events have falsely used the City’s name and branding authorization.
